I've provided Debian Etch backports of
hugin 0.7.0 and
enblend-enfuse 3.2 in
my Debian repository.
Unfortunately, I've messed up the package upgrade path of the hugin packages, because my older packaged had a bad version number ("0.7.0beta4" is considered newer than the "0.7.0" release version). I don't want to fix this with an epoch in the version number because then things would get ugly on upgrades to other repositories (backports.org or later Debian releases). So for now to get the new hugin packages, do an
apt-get update
, deinstall the old hugin packages (aptitude should list them under "obsolete and locally created packages" after the update) and finally install the hugin package again which will load the all new shiny 0.7.0 packages.
I've stitched two small test panoramas to test the packages and to try out the new enfuse binary and I think it's pretty cool. Give it a shot!
